Distilled from a combination of Bere, Biodynamic and Organic barley, Bruichladdich Greener Still is designed to express both flavour and farming philosophy in the glass. Each barley varietal plays a distinct role. Soft florals on the nose, ripe orchard fruit and honeyed sweetness on the palate, and a velvety finish with a lick of vanilla and coastal freshness.
Matured for its entire 15-year maturation life in first-fill bourbon barrels, resting solely at the distillery on Islay. Greener Still honours our commitment to environmentally conscious growing and distilling.

Bere Barley
An ancient landrace which adds incredible flavour to our whisky and vital genetic diversity to our soils, we have been exploring the importance of Bere barley since 2005.
Biodynamic Barley
Sustainably grown on a carbon-positive farm in Wiltshire, England, Biodynamic barley is the only exception to our 100% Scottish barley rule. We launched the world’s first Biodynamic Scotch whisky in 2021.
Organic Barley
We have been working with Organic barley since 2003. Grown on the Scottish mainland using no artificial input, it is the purest form of its terroir.

What initially began as a quest for flavour has evolved to so much more. Today, we remain passionate about where and how our barley is grown, and work directly with farmers to reduce our reliance on artificial input, trial regenerative farming techniques and promote soil health.
